- Sponges and brushes
- Flower pots
- Small rocks
- Flowers or seeds or herbs (HERB GARDEN??)
- Finishing spray
- Hot Glue / Super glue
- Googly eyes
- Pom poms
Prepare! After you have all of your supplies, lay out some newspaper so you don’t get paint or dirt on anything you don’t want to!
Get creative with decorating the pots! With the paint you bought, have some fun creating your own unique design.
Wait for the paint to dry!
Once the paint is dry, add any extras you want to, such as sparkles, googly eyes, or pom poms, and attach with glue.
When the extras have dried, spray the pots with a finishing spray / sealant to secure your artwork will stay on there for a long time.
After the finishing spray has dried, it is finally time to plant something inside of it! Place some small rocks at the bottom of the pot to create ventilation, and then use the dirt to create a soft, pillowey layer at the bottom of the pot, on top of the rocks. Then, plant the flower, seeds, or herbs you have. Cover the rest with dirt and you are almost done!
Last but not least, find a place for your new friend to live and grow!
